Wang Canchong, Chairman of Reashell Technology, expressed his gratitude to the Longyou County Government and Quzhou Municipal Government for their support. The professionalism, thoughtfulness and efficiency shown by the government in the project advancement process are impressive. Reashell Technology will continue to adhere to the With a sense of mission, we will give full play to our own advantages to help Longyou accelerate industrial upgrading and build an all-solid-state battery industry cluster.
As the main direction for the development of next-generation battery technology, all-solid-state batteries have disruptive improvements in safety, energy density, cycle life, charging speed, temperature characteristics, etc., and are a technological highland that countries around the world must compete for. As a key raw material for all-solid-state batteries, solid electrolytes largely determine the industrialization process of all-solid-state batteries. The production of all-solid electrolytes in my country is still in its early stages, and there are no companies on the market that can supply it in batches. This time The signing of the project also marks that my country's all-solid electrolyte materials have officially entered the industrialization stage.
The project has a total investment of 1.3 billion yuan to carry out large-scale production of sulfide-based all-solid electrolyte materials and form standards in terms of production equipment and process flow. According to the project plan, it is expected to complete and reach the 100-ton all-solid electrolyte production capacity in 2025, and achieve the goal of annual production of 6,000 tons of all-solid electrolyte in 2028. By then, it will greatly promote the industrial development of all-solid-state batteries and start to take off globally. To serve as a demonstration, cooperate with the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to open up a trillion-scale market for all-solid-state batteries.
As the core material of solid-state batteries, solid electrolytes have complex production processes, difficult applications, and very high technical thresholds. The signing of Reashell Technology's sulfide all-solid-state electrolyte production base project will help to take the lead in starting low-cost and high-efficiency mass production of materials globally and accelerate the improvement of the supporting supply structure for the all-solid-state battery industry.
